A couple of our members at Raunds Methodist Church - Prema and Steve - regularly visit family and friends in Bangalore, India. When they are visiting, they worship at Seamond Methodist Church. More recently, Prema and Steve have worshipped with an off-shoot of this fellowship in the area local to their home in Bangalore. Realising that this new fellowship didn't have enough hymnbooks, Prema and Steve asked the churches in the Nene Valley Circuit if we could help. Within a few days, enough copies of Hymns and Psalms were collected to be sent to the church.
A Bollywood film evening was held in July to help raise money towards the cost of sending the books to the church.
As a Circuit, we're pleased to be able to support and share with our brothers and sisters in faith all over the world.
