Whether you are well advanced in your walk with the Lord or have only recently begun or are seeking we welcome you to join us so that we may journey and grow in our faith together

Our Sunday worship is at 10.30 am in the Chapel - if you are unable to join with us we can provide links to live streaming from other Services in the Circuit or to deliver a Worship Sheet for your personal use at home.

If there are 5 Sundays in a month we usually share worship (either at Raunds or at one of the other Chapels in the Circuit - please see the Church calendar for details)

Rise Up & Build

Raunds Methodist Church Autumn Bulletin 2022

Good news! We have reached our financial target of £350,000 and have secured an additional £5,000.   We are now waiting for the final part of the structural engineering report so that we can move on to tendering for the work to begin.  But before we get complacent, we must remember that the tender might show that we need more than £355,000, in which case we will have to trim our expectations to match our finances.

We are now in the process of translating our mission statement into a lived reality and with the help of the Methodist Way of Life we are engaging with, and reflecting upon what means to be called ‘Church’ here in Raunds as we look “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”.

By putting our ‘Faith in Action’ we envision that not only will our refurbished building be a joy to Worship in, but that it also be a hub of Learning and Caring and Service for our community, and we have already been approached by various organisations engaged in health and social issues, as we seek to share our faith with our community through Evangelism in speaking of the love of God and providing hope and encouragement to those who are experiencing hard times.

We have come so far, and yet there is still so much to do, please do keep praying for us and we thank all who have entrusted us with their money: grant providers, Circuit and District as well as individuals.

This is God-given work, this is a way of expressing the ongoing desire to show the Jesus way of both challenge and compassion and in doing so ‘may we be a blessing within and beyond God’s Church, for the transformation of the world.’

Blessings and thanks to you all, from Raunds Methodist Church
